Classe 40

I have just got back to Lorient from delivering the Classe 40, 40 Degrees to St. Malo.

It was great to finally get a sail on the 40 and the boat lived up to all expectations, it was great. There were a lot of different systems onboard but in general it seemed like a more comfy and easier boat than the mini.

40 Degrees is an Owen Clark design and has a very hard chine, so once the boat got up and going it sat on the chine and was great to helm. Unfortunately we had up wind conditions all the way, there was a small time with the Spi but it was as 2 weather system came together so the wind was very light and all over the place.

Now I've just a few small jobs to do on Night Fever, then hopefully down to La Rochelle to collect the new boat!
