The next step

After a very busy year back in the working world, it time for the next step in my racing career. I am leaving the boat I have run for the last year and I am back to chasing sponsorship and looking to do a full race season in the class 40. For this next chapter I will be sailing with my partner Emma Creighton (www.facebook.com/emmas.sailing.exploits) We have an incredible partnership both on and off the water and I believe we have the makings of a highly competitive team. The 40 2013 calendar consists of- 14th April: start of the Normandy Channel Race May: possibility of Troph̩e SNSM July: Les Sables Рthe Azores - Les Sables August: Fastnet Race September: Transat Jacques Vabre Winter in the Caribbean Recently we have had some exciting sailing on the infinity boat (https://www.facebook.com/pages/INFINITI-Yachts/332237286863323) A very interesting concept with leeward horizontal foils to give the boat lift. It's exciting to sail and drive, and very fast. They have designed a mini which could be the future contender. Currently I am on a plane on my way to Malta for the middle sea race aboard Lupa a swing keel Baltic 78. The weather is looking very exciting so could be a fast race.
